Ilizabeth
Cabrera (cello, viola da gamba) has a Bachelors Degree in
Performance from Hartt School of Music and a Master of Music in
Performance Degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts of Rutgers
University. She studied cello with David Finckel, Paul Olefsky, David
Wells, Stephen Kates, and Yehuda Hanani, and studied viola da gamba
with Mary Ann Ballard. She teaches a large class of private
students and performs professionally with Rosetta, a traditional
Celtic, British Isle and Spanish music group, and the Dolce Trio, which
performs Baroque and Classical chamber music, as well as some
traditional folk music. She also performs as a freelance cellist
with orchestras and ensembles in the tri-state area.
Additionally, she can also be heard as a guest artist on several folk
music recordings with Lucy Kaplanski, Lori Rielly, Bob McNally, Mike
Agranoff, Liza DiSavino, and Patrick Regan.
