The Early Music Players

Andrew Koenig (guitar, recorder, gemshorn, voice, percussion) is a computer scientist by profession, in which guise he has published several books and hundreds of magazine articles. As a musician, he is mostly self-taught. He started playing the recorder as a child, picked up other instruments along the way, and studied music theory at Columbia College. He retired from AT&T in 2003, where he was the Project Editor of the C++ standard. Aside from music, and his wife (and coauthor) Barbara Moo, his interests include photography, cooking, wine, chess, bridge, and his four fine felines. For more information, go here.
